Georgia Szmerling

Georgia Szmerling works in acrylic paint and felt-tip pens. Her dominant creative concern is the representation of decorative plant formations. Szmerling’s work reveals an ability to introduce small detailed images alongside complimentary larger forms, often suggesting a lyrical sense of movement. Szmerling has exhibited in various group shows at the Arts Project Australia Gallery and in galleries nationally. Her first solo exhibition was held in 2005 in Melbourne.
