Arts Project Australia's popular Christmas Show returns with a scintillating collection of some 100 works created this year by the artists from our studio. Vibrant, gestural, abstract paintings of iridescent colour sit alongside detailed, almost graphic, depictions of black space and landscapes.
A lively and spirited exhibition, Studio Days illustrates the polarities in both process and content characteristic of the works generated at Arts Project Australia. As with most group art studios the works can be akin, at odds, complementary, or informative. The Arts Project Australia studio in Northcote is no exception.
What does, however, remain constant is the environment and the way each individual artist from the APA studio delivers their celebrated art: with great commitment as contemporary art practitioners.
