Therese Rein Visits Arts Project

Therese Rein, wife of the Prime Minister, visited Arts Project on 13 October to meet our artists and view their work.

Ms Rein heard about Arts Project Australia when she visited Art Enables in the US (a studio with a similar philosophy and practice in Washington DC) and made a special request to visit after our American friends said we were a "best practice mode". Artists were thrilled to meet her, and show their work - particularly artist Lisa Reid, who had just completed her sculpture of Kevin Rudd! Ms Rein's infectious smile will be remembered here.
