    Jonah Jones
    President

    Jonah is the principal of Jonah Jones and Associates Pty Ltd, a project management and consulting firm established in 1985. The company, which operates nationally and internationally, co-ordinates arts and cultural events, advises on the design and programming of cultural venues, exhibition facilities, and arts and cultural festivals, and undertakes operational and program reviews for tourism, cultural and indigenous venues and organisations.

    Board member since 2005 and was appointed President in 2008.

    Catherine Easton
    Vice President

    Catherine was first introduced to Arts Project Australia through the Australia Business Arts Foundation as a Business Adviser, providing input to strategic and business planning processes.  She has 20 years experience in large financial service organizations and has had responsibility for areas such as customer service, project management, operational risk, business systems and people development. 

    Board member since 2006 and appointed Vice President in 2007.

    Sean Gaskell
    Secretary and Public Officer

    Sean is a principal of the ABN AMRO Morgan’s Brighton office and as a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, is bound by high ethical and professional standards.  He is a strategic thinker with broad management experience and is ready to embrace the challenge of increasing awareness of Arts Project via his network of contacts in the business world.

    Board member since 2008 and appointed Secretary & Public Officer in 2009.

    Mashelle Parrett
    Treasurer

    Mashelle is employed as a Director in financial audit at the Victoria Auditor-General’s Office. Mashelle has 20 years experience in financial reporting, budgeting, governance and audit in for profit and not for profit organisations. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.  

    Board member since 2009 and was appointed Treasurer in 2010

    Rosemary (Rosie) Brennan

    Rosie Brennan worked as a volunteer for more than five years which gave her valuable insight and enabled her to interact with the artists, artsworkers, parents and carers on a regular basis. She has a broad range of business experience gained over the last thirty years - ranging from the financial services industry to small business ownership - and welcomes the opportunity to serve on the Board and to provide the artists with an increased presence in contemporary arts practice.

    Wendy Foard

    Wendy is currently the vice chairperson of the Melbourne Art Fair Foundation and sits on the board of the recently launched Satellite art projects and, together with her husband, has long been a collector of contemporary Australian and New Zealand art, including indigenous, and work by artists working outside the mainstream art world. Wendy is delighted to contribute to Arts Project in any relevant capacity, particularly fundraising and sponsorship for future activities such as an annual Melbourne Art Fair which will require considerable focus, both on sponsorship/fundraising and resources for the artists.

    Kay Ronec

    Kay was involved in the fashion industry for more than 30 years, working as a Product Director for one of the largest corporate apparel companies. Since retiring in 2008 she has dedicated much of her time to voluntary work for a number of not for profit organisations with special interests include ensuring community recognition of the less privileged and the education of young people in becoming more tolerant of others from different cultures, races or religions. Her objective is to assist the development of Arts Project as one of the leading and best recognised international art studios for artists with an intellectual disability.

    Norman Rosenblatt

    Norman was a practicing licensed Customs Broker and gained extensive business experience by operating his own Customs Agency in Melbourne until his retirement in 2008. This enabled him to obtain the skills and understanding of dealing with both corporate clients and government departments. He is an Associate of the Customs Broker & Forwarding Council of Australia Inc. With a life long interest in art, Norman believes that Arts Project provides a pathway to art together with a sense of satisfaction and achievement.

    Neil Twist

     

    Neil is an Executive Officer in the Department of Justice and has wide ranging experience in all aspects of public sector management. Neil is currently the Director, Appropriate Dispute Resolution and previous roles have included CEO of the County Court and Manager, Disability Services DHS North Western Region. Neil has been a collector of works by Arts Project Australia artists for a number of years and looks forward to contributing positively to the organisation.
