GALLERY

  • Train: The nearest station is Victoria Park, approximately a 700 metre, 10 minute walk to and from Collingwood Yards. Victoria Park Station is elevated and access to the platforms is either via a ramp or lift.
  • Tram Route 86: The nearest tram stop is Stop 19 on the Route 86 at the corner of Johnston St & Smith St. Stop 19 is approximately a 300 meter, 5 minute walk to and from Collingwood Yards. Route 86 is partly serviced by low-floor trams.
  • Bus Routes 200, 207, 966:  The nearest Bus stop is the corner of Johnston St & Smith St on Routes 200, 207 and Night Bus Route 966. The corner of Johnston St & Smith St is approximately a 300 meter, 5 minute walk to and from Collingwood Yards.
  • On Site Parking: Collingwood Yards offers a single disabled car parking space. Located in the commons area at 35C Johnston Street vehicle entrance.
  • Off Site Parking: There are numerous secure and street parking options in the area. On the North boundary of Collingwood Yards on Johnston St, two-hour free parking is available. On the South boundary of Collingwood Yards on Perry St, four-hour free parking is available. All day paid parking options are available on Wellington Street (East of Precinct).
  • Entrances: Collingwood Yards has five external entrances. Two are on Perry Street (Designated as 30A Perry St and 30B Perry Street). Three are on the Johnston Street side (Designated as 35A Johnston St, 35B Johnston St and 35C Johnston St). 

Collingwood Yards is committed to universal access and offers elevators, grade access, levelled corridors and access paths and accessible toilets across the site. STUDIO

  • Bus Route 250: Leaves from the City (Queen St), stops about a 5-10 minute walk from Arts Project Australia and travels all the way to La Trobe University.
  • Tram Route 86: Leaves from Bourke St in the city, then get off at Walker Street/Stop 26 on High Street. We are a two-minute walk up the hill on the right next to Four Beans Cafe.
  • Train Lines Mernda and Hurstbridge: Rushall, Merri and Westgarth stations are all about a 10-minute walk to Arts Project.
  • On site parking: there isone disability park directly out the front and another within 100 meters of the entrance. With advanced warning, we can arrange for vehicles to park undercover for easy access for short-term accessible parking. 
  • Off site parking: multiple options on side streets ranging between one hour to all day parking. All free. 

Wheelchair access is available throughout the building. The entrance is on street level with an automatic door. Lift access to the studio is available and there are no ramps to navigate.
