Cam Noble

Cameron Noble works in a variety of mediums including painting, ceramics, print-making, 3D, and digital photography. His work frequently reveals a devotion to shape, form, and colour. In his art-making process, he deliberates for some time before applying rich velvety layers of pastel or thick layers of paint. Blocks of colour are contained by single unrefined lines, helping determine the structure of his subjects. His images of pop stars, models, and celebrities resonate with audiences on a personal level. Cameron Noble (born 1983) has been a regular studio artist at Arts Project Australia since 2004. He has been included in numerous group exhibitions including, Melbourne Art Fair, Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne (2006, 2008 & 2014), National Gallery of Victoria 150th Anniversary, NGV, Melbourne and Pearls of Arts Project Australia: The Stuart Purves Collection, National touring exhibition (2007-2009). His work is held in private collections throughout Australia.
