With our premises unoccupied for a number of months, we are taking advantage of the opportunity to upgrade our entrance and reception area to be compliant with current accessibility requirements. This building upgrade will enable easier entry to the building for all through a more accessible and functional reception area, and provide a brighter and more inviting entrance, undercroft and outside space.
This project has been made possible by generous support from the Limb Family Foundation and the many donors who contributed to the project last year.
When COVID19 kicked off, we put the project on hold (with designs finalised), but recently decided that this as actually the perfect time to complete these works without disruption to artists and staff. Sibling Architecture and MIC Projects are managing the project and construction. Now, when artists and staff return from late October, it will be to a fresh and inviting entrance and undercroft.
A huge thank you to all the donors and supporters who have made this important project possible – we look forward to sharing it with you in the next few months.
