Receive, interpret, output.
Come with us on a journey exploring sound, touch, taste and smell as we learn how to reinterpret these sensations and turn them into visual art. This workshop will explore new ways of creating in response to our current exhibition, Sensitive Antennae which ponders the feelings and energy that is captured, transmitted and received through abstract art. This will be your last opportunity to see the exhibition on its closing day and an opportunity to learn how to decode this unusual reference material and inspire new methods of making.
Do not adjust your set.
The Northcote Penguins will be your guide; a group of specialised artists who, outside of their individual art practice, explore the broader contemporary arts space and professional practice. This workshop is an afternoon of discussion and accessible art-making for all skill levels.
