Join us for The Search for the Holy Grail? and other curiosities, an artist talk and clay workshop with Arts Project Australia artist Matthew Gove and Nic Megchelse.

Together we will explore Matthew Gove’s extensive artistic practice, from playful narratives through to his peculiar collections of oddities and everything in between.

Matthew Gove, alongside his faithful assistant and fellow artist, Nic Megchelse, will then guide you on a relaxed clay workshop. Here you will have a chance to get acquainted with Matt’s signature medium, and make your own treasure to behold and take home.

Get inspired by Matt’s current muse – action adventure hero, Indiana Jones, on his legendary quest for the Holy Grail. Participants will be invited to make their own chalice – the cup that gives everlasting life, and face the final challenge. Choose wisely….

Matthew Gove is currently exhibiting as part of ACKNOWLEDGE ME, curated by Adrian Lazzaro and Caroline Wylds. ACKNOWLEDGE ME closes on Saturday May 6, 2023.
