The Day We All Went Home, our inaugural online auction at Leonard Joel, raised just over $46,000 after setting a target of $50,000. 80 lots sold with 100% of proceeds evenly divided between participating artists and Arts Project Australia.
This fantastic result gave us such a burst of positivity in what has been a challenging year for all. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported us throughout this initiative: the bidders and viewers who watched the auction online, as well as to our 10-year partner Leonard Joel, led by John Albrecht, for facilitating an incredibly successful fundraising event.
It is with our community of supporters and partners by our side that we can continue to aim high and advocate for the inclusion of marginalised artists in the art sector. With that in mind, we hope successful bidders enjoy welcoming their newly acquired works of art into their collections. And, if you missed the auction or were outbid, we are offering a second chance to acquire unique artworks through Leonard Joel at once-off fundraising auction prices. So, if you see something you love, get in touch right away!
