What a whirlwind! Thank you to everyone who came and visited us at SPRING1883 in Sydney. We received really wonderful interest for Arts Project studio artists and their work; the great responses from Sydney art lovers and collectors has been phenomenal.
Not only has SPRING1883 been an amazing experience for Arts Project Australia as an organisation, but it’s an incredible coup for Arts Project studio artists. During the four days we shared Penthouse Suite #56 with New York gallery DUTTON, presenting a wide range of tactile and lyrical work, capturing much attention and praise. Spanning ceramics, painting, drawing and soft sculpture, during SPRING1883 we exhibited the work of 23 studio artists including including John Bates, Robert Brown, Samraing Chea, Valerio Ciccone, Boris Cipusev, Alan Constable, Patrick Francis, Ian Gold, Paul Hodges, Ruth Howard, Miles Howard-Wilks, Kate Knight, Adrian Lazzaro, Julian Martin, Chris Mason, Warren O’Brien, Lisa Reid, Anthony Romagnano, Rebecca Scibilia, Mark Smith, Georgia Szmerling and Terry Williams.
And our personal highlight from the four days? Perhaps when the SPRING1883 ‘officials’ awarded us the prestigious honour of “best use of bidet”. Have a look at our photos to find out more…
