Iain Gordon is an emerging artist working primarily in pencil on paper, with a focus on form and a distinctive use of colour.
Influenced by his fascination with sport and transportation, Gordon’s drawings often feature athletes mid-play or aircraft in flight. His compositions distil the essence of each subject, capturing dynamic movement and energy by placing figures in motion at the centre of the frame. Gordon joined the Arts Project Australia studio in 2022, and his work is held in private collections.
