Molica Silk is an emerging artist who joined Arts Project Australia in 2023.
Her work reflects personal interests including favourite foods, places and memories. Molica’s creative process starts with detailed pencil drawings, which she then layers with colourful gouache washes. A mix of bright and pastel hues merge over delicate lines; creating patterns and perspectives. Molica’s artworks often have cartoon-like characteristics and a playful aesthetic.
