Nick Capaldo’s practice shifts between creating illustrative line drawings, detailed watercolour paintings and comic zines. Nick frequently references pop culture icons in his work including Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Wars, Garfield and Star Trek. As well as characters from his favourite franchises, Nick’s artworks centre around his long-time interest in astronomical themes including astronauts, space travel and planets.
