Alvaro Alvarez is an established artist working across a range of mediums, including painting and drawing. Alvaro’s artworks are defined by small patches of colour, that change in direction across the picture plane. His deliberate mark-marking and layered cross-hatching further the perception of shifting movement. Alvaro uses varied palettes, at times using subtle and muted tones, as well as dynamic colour combinations to highlight directional changes.
