Valerio Ciccone
Valerio Ciccone’s art practice is largely related to his personal experience both in the studio and other social aspects of his life. He has been attending APA since 1985 and enthusiastically participates in an ongoing life drawing class held at RMIT. In the past, Ciccone’s acquaintance with media personalities informed hundreds of drawings. More recently Ciccone has drawn from newspapers, magazines and books. Ciccone manages to capture an essence apparent in his animal and human subjects alike, creating caricature like images.
