APA celebrates 50 years of bold and brilliant art
It’s time to celebrate! This year Arts Project Australia turns 50, and to kick off this extraordinary milestone we threw a Studio Open Day at our world-renowned Northcote studio.
This free community event on Sunday 24 March was a rare opportunity for anyone to step inside the studio, connect with the artists, and participate in an afternoon of music, workshops, demonstrations and more.
The 50th celebrations continue throughout 2024 with a showstopping exhibition program at our Collingwood Yards gallery, and a suite of public programs for visitors to get involved with.
The second half of the year sees a major exhibition at TarraWarra Museum of Art featuring 13 artists from Arts Project that will be accompanied by a publication and series of public programs, as well as exciting partnerships and collaborations.
We will also have our much anticipated Annual Gala held in December – with over 150 works available for purchase!
