Rebecca Scibilia has been a practising artist at Arts Project Australia (APA) since 1999.
Working in acrylic paint and markers, she builds bright, layered compositions in saturated colour. Her subjects come from the things she loves: films, television, books and the places she has travelled. Some works pair figures with text and witty phrases. Others, built from dense strokes, give way to expressive fields of colour.
