Chelle Destefano is a multidisciplinary artist based in Creswick and Naarm.
Destefano uses various mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, sculpture, and performance to inform their practice. Destefano’s artwork focuses on current issues conflating with their identity and political observations that encourage debate. As a Deaf artist, Destefano communicates ideas through her art practice, commenting on climate change, housing and homelessness crises and the inequality of marginalised populations.
