Other Worlds

Other Worlds brings together artists whose work draws on gaming culture, fantasy and speculative forms of storytelling. Across painting, sculpture, installation and digital media, the exhibition explores how imagined worlds are constructed and inhabited, offering spaces that sit somewhere between reality and fiction.

Influenced by video games, online communities and world-building practices, the works in Other Worlds consider the ways people use fantasy to experiment with identity, navigate experience and imagine alternative possibilities. Rather than simply providing an escape, these invented environments become sites for reflection, transformation and connection.

The exhibition invites audiences to move through a series of imagined spaces that challenge familiar perspectives and open up new ways of seeing. In these worlds, the boundaries between the personal and collective, the virtual and physical, become fluid, revealing fantasy as a powerful tool for making meaning and imagining what might exist beyond the everyday.
