Robyn Doherty’s creates patterns and landscapes using paint pens, acrylic and gouache on paper. Repeating grids, dots and squares rendered in bright colours form her abstract artworks. Doherty’s gentle observations of suburban environments and nature reserves are complemented by her considered colour transitions, creating perspective and revealing familiar landscapes.
