APA artists take over EastLink

Have you spotted these artworks while travelling the Eastlink highway? On display until 16 June, these works by APA artists Monica Lazzari and Julian Martin are showcased on four billboards as part of an exciting partnership with Eastlink.

Monica, a Ringwood-based artist who has worked with Arts Project Australia since 2006, describes her creative practice as centred on process over outcome.

“My work is more about the journey of making the work – not the outcome of what it’s going to look like.”

Monica Lazzari, APA artist

Her work, alongside Julian’s, transforms the EastLink corridor into an open-air gallery that champions neurodivergent artists and artists with intellectual disability.

We’re thrilled to see Monica and Julian’s work reaching new audiences and grateful to EastLink for their support of our artists.

Keep an eye out for their works if you’re driving through!
