Peter Ben is a painter and ceramicist whose work is rooted in diverse narratives and rich visual storytelling.
His ceramic series feature deep carving techniques and detailed reliefs that create dynamic, textured surfaces. In his paintings, Ben draws heavily from music culture, layering a wide range of subject matter against vibrant, dappled backgrounds that verge on the psychedelic. Since his first solo exhibition in 2013, Ben has participated in numerous group shows, with his work entering both public and private collections. His pieces are held in the National Gallery of Australia, as well as in national and international corporate and private collections.
