Jacob Cartelli uses acrylic and pencil to create his works on paper and canvas. His paintings are characterised by a dense application of paint, with layers and brushwork fusing to create saturated fields of abstraction. In contrast, his pencil drawings are concentrated and refined. Cartelli explores varied subjects, often returning to animal motifs, nostalgic characters, and still life compositions.
