Mark Patterson works predominantly with acrylic on paper. His paintings often depict abstract landscapes. Aspects of his scenes belonging to nature have softer brushwork and blurred edges, in contrast to the shaper and straighter forms of his built environments. Mark’s use of complementary and contrasting colours reflects his strong affinity for colour theory.
