Choose Your Hue
Contributing artists
Christian Hansen is an artist who traverses many mediums, turning poetry into paintings, processing the intensity of life through art. He ‘draws with paint’, transposing significant experiences, people, and places into symbolic surreal spiritual scenes, often through the lens of his Dutch and Romani heritage. Christian works primarily with acrylic, gouache, egg tempera, ceramics, and has recently begun exploring the world of animatronics.
He has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and is a current member of The Northcote Penguins, an art collective formed in the Professional Practice Program at Arts Project Australia. His work is held in private collections throughout Australia.
